History
Redford MI - Independent inventor, product developer and
single parent, Dave Blandford has been working on this new
product (VAK-SAK) for almost 10 years. How can a product
that's 10 years in the making be new ?
It took 10 years for the technology to develop and become
cheap enough to allow an independent inventor the chance
to make a high quality product that can be sold at a low cost.
Thanks to the global economy and the computer related
advances, this is now possible.
Almost 10 years ago with the help of a large commercial poly
bag seamer, the first VAK-SAK was born. It was a disaster,
no digital camera, no high tech software or computers resulted
in a hand drawn package that was less than marketable. With
no global contacts, the product was a 3 pouch poly product
that had to be mounted with screws. Good idea ~ bad product.
After a new baby girl and then a divorce (that's a story in itself),
a "forced" relocation to the other side of the state, foreclosure
and then bankruptcy, a few years had passed. The world had
quickly changed during those few years. Al Gore invented the
internet and nothing has been the same since.
An old highschool friend of Dave's had a nice computer and all
the latest software for pictures when the digital camera came
out. Now a marketable package could be produced at an
affordable cost. Another friend that knew how to sew made a
couple of new VAK-SAK prototypes useing the latest quality
materials that where now available. Sending samples and
making contacts for the manufacture of the new VAK-SAK
proved to be quite a challenge, but that was also overcome.
Finally a quality product with a decent package and a
reasonable cost was completed and ready for retail sales.
Now comes the really hard part, the marketing and sales.
I will let you know how this works out as we move
on ahead. To be continued..............db
It has been a very busy spring season so far and
things are hopping here at db Innovation Inc., we are
sorry to say that sales have been so strong that the
VAK-SAK is currently backordered. My manufacture will
be turning out more VAK-SAK's soon and we will be
restocking the inventory when they arrive. Due to my
own oversight for demand, I will be extending our
limited time special introductory offer for a while
longer. We will have plenty of product available just
in time for the spring / summer season clean-ups,
so don't wait for this limited time offer to
expire. Retailers & Catalogs call for quantity pricing !
Many thanks to all our valued customers and let's all
hope for a safe and hopeful year !.............db
